This 16-hour course provides an overview of OSHA and DOB policies, procedures, and rigging standards; focusing on preventing hazardous conditions. In addition, topics such as basic crane components, visually inspecting equipment, crane setup, and methods of applying proper rigging hitches. At the end of the course, each student will have a hands-on assessment to ensure they are capable of inspecting hardware, applying rope knots and lifting techniques.
