Course Overview
This course is a comprehensive review of Chapter 33 and the Rules of the City of New York that pertain to public protection. The purpose of the course is to initiate prospective candidates with safe job practices and to prepare students to take the Site Safety Manager’s test.

Format: This course is offered strictly as an in-person class over a virtual Zoom Platform. Students are required to have the proper device, with a camera and internet, set up and working for the duration of the scheduled instructional time periods.
Curriculum: The training covers OSHA policies, procedures, and standards, as well as construction safety and health.
Learning Objectives: At the end of the course students will be able to identify common causes of accidents and fatalities in hazardous areas of construction, along with recognizing construction processes, materials, and equipment.
